Explore Archery - Explore Archery: Spring Program Description: Explore Archery is a versatile education activity program that is fun, rewarding, progressive, and most important – SAFE! In Explore Archery, students participate in individual and team building activities that require fundamental skills, a competitive edge and a bit of creativity. Students will learn the basic steps to the shot cycle as well as range safety and etiquette. Whether participants are trying to pop a balloon or shoot a Robin Hood, they will stay engaged and keep coming back for more! All equipment will be provided and no prior experience is needed. Teen Center - Teen Center Welcome Back!! 2023-2024
Please note: Volunteer's are needed! Please contact the office at 781-871-1730 to volunteer. Registration: You must register and pay on line for the day they want to attend. We are limiting the nights to 50 kids. That may go down if we don't have enough volunteers or staff to run the teen center. Snack BarWe will have our snack bar open and the kids will have a designated area to eat. We do not allow any food or drink in the blue room and in the gym. Bathrooms We are only allowing one person at a time in the bathrooms. Any more than that the child will be asked to leave the bathroom. If they do not then the staff has the right to ask them to leave. GymWe will be playing organized games in the gym and have tournaments. Teens may only have water in the gym. They will not be allowed to bring any drinks in from the outside and they will not be able to leave soda and sport drinks in the hallway to drink as the night goes on. Just water in the gym. Kid's Hip Hop - Hip Hop Come join Rockland Recreation for Kid's Hip Hop. Each week Cora and Sadie will teach the kids a new Tik Tok Dance as part of the warm up & also learn hip hop! Meet the Instructors:Cora and Sadie have been dancing for the MAD Dancers since they were 2/3 years old. Sadie's favorite type of dance is Lyrical and Cora's is Hip Hop. About the instructor: Greg Belcher, Owner/Operator/Co-founder – Licensed Massage Therapist, RYT 200, Polarity Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher – One of Cardinal’s co-founders, came to yoga unexpectedly, and never looked back. Greg was seeking a practice that would increase his agility and flexibility as he trained for his 1st Degree Black Belt. Please note: Volunteer's are needed! Please contact the office at 781-871-1730 to volunteer. Registration: You must register and pay on line for the day they want to attend. We are limiting the nights to 50 kids. That may go down if we don't have enough volunteers or staff to run the teen center. Snack BarWe will have our snack bar open and the kids will have a designated area to eat. We do not allow any food or drink in the blue room and in the gym. Bathrooms We are only allowing one person at a time in the bathrooms. Any more than that the child will be asked to leave the bathroom. If they do not then the staff has the right to ask them to leave. GymWe will be playing organized games in the gym and have tournaments. Teens may only have water in the gym. They will not be allowed to bring any drinks in from the outside and they will not be able to leave soda and sport drinks in the hallway to drink as the night goes on. Just water in the gym. Kid's Hip Hop - Hip Hop Come join Rockland Recreation for Kid's Hip Hop. Each week Cora and Sadie will teach the kids a new Tik Tok Dance as part of the warm up & also learn hip hop! About the instructor: Greg Belcher, Owner/Operator/Co-founder – Licensed Massage Therapist, RYT 200, Polarity Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher – One of Cardinal’s co-founders, came to yoga unexpectedly, and never looked back. Greg was seeking a practice that would increase his agility and flexibility as he trained for his 1st Degree Black Belt. By incorporating yoga, massage and energy work into his training he is currently a 3rd Degree Black Belt with 5+ years experience teaching Tae Kwon Do. Each class is beginner friendly, mat-based class for all abilities. The instructor will be teaching using the mirror method to help teach the poses. About the instructor: Greg Belcher, Owner/Operator/Co-founder – Licensed Massage Therapist, RYT 200, Polarity Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher – One of Cardinal’s co-founders, came to yoga unexpectedly, and never looked back. Greg was seeking a practice that would increase his agility and flexibility as he trained for his 1st Degree Black Belt. By incorporating yoga, massage and energy work into his training he is currently a 3rd Degree Black Belt with 5+ years experience teaching Tae Kwon Do. Since earning his 200 hr teacher certification through Sacred Space Yoga School in May 2014 Greg continues his journey by currently working towards an additional 300 hr certification. Along his continuing journey he has also become a Reiki Master Teacher in addition to working with other energy modalities and most recently graduating from Spa-Tech’s 770 hr Hollistic Massage Therapy Program. Kids Spartan Training - Spartan Training Does your child like the challenge of obstacle courses, running through the woods or both? Then this is the class for them!! Coach Mark Ewell has ran many Spartan courses over the past few years and will share his knowledge of course training as well as work on gross motor skills through balance strength and endurance.
