This is not your average Spanish Class! Mrs. Melissa Shaughnessy from Rockland High School has come up with some fun ways for your child to start to learn Spanish. So give your child a jump start on a new language.
Elementary age:
Grow your child's world through our brand new summer Spanish program. During this exciting one week course, your child will become familiar with basic conversational Spanish, numbers, colors, days, and so much more. This class teaches your child all about Spanish through interactive learning, reading familiar stories, and catchy tunes! It's a great way to help your child get their feet wet and get comfortable doing something new and different. Children who participate in the program will have the opportunity to practice their new skills with other children their age and the teacher.
Middle School Age:
Get your child ready for world language classes by introducing them to Spanish! During this one week course, your child will learn about people from around the Spanish-speaking world and become familiar with introductory Spanish. This is a perfect way to get them ready to tackle Spanish at the middle school level! Children who participate in the program will be able to get comfortable with Spanish by practicing with students close to their age and the teacher.
Please Note: Your child must be entering the selected grade in September.
